We are just entering into a period of promotional activity with a National Retailer. Curing over 20 tonnes of extra Gammon and producing an additional 17,500 packets of product per day. Every packet is made with the very same care and attention as the last and all through our purpose built facilities using the very latest laser guided technology from our 100 year old recipes. This will all be over by October time just in time for us to start the Christmas campaigns. Christmas starts early at Bearfields!

Technical are preparing to welcome Mr Steve Morris of SAI Global for our announced BMPA Red Tractor audit. Constantly striving to promote British meat and goods, Bearfields are planning to remain accredited with the BMPA Ham and Gammon charter schemes and increase our presence by adding Red Tractor pork products to their customers.

Bearfields wave goodbye to Miss Jessica Genovese from our Technical team. Jessica joined us straight from University, where she graduated in Food Science, as a Technical Assistant just over a year ago. Specialising in Microbiology, she has been instrumental in improving trends and introducing controls sampling techniques. We wish her the very best of luck with her move back home, to Italy, to take up a position as a Research Assistant.

Bearfields say hello to Mr Ronald Mansfield who has joined us as Hygiene Supervisor. Ronald has a proven track record in improving and maintaining Hygiene standards in the food industry. In his short time at Bearfields he has already improved on our current systems and his plans are motivating the team and those around him. We all look forward to working with Ronald.
